George Gordon, working as Fatov Gorlitski, is a self-taught artist born and based in Boston. He currently prefers digital and acrylic media.

Gorlitski's work uses a colorful and cartoonish visual language to explore themes of egotism, self-destruction, and salvation. This contrast encourages viewers to consider otherwise daunting subject matter through a playful and approachable lens.

His current and ongoing body of work centers around painting scenes from fairy tales that don't really exist - an effort that seeks to re-engage with the oldest and most elemental tropes of human storytelling.

Gorlitski's work has been exhibited in Boston at the Cambridge Art Association, Nearby Gallery, and No Call No Show.
